Definition of Giclée - The term is French meaning "to spray." "Giclée" is the common verbiage used for what is currently the most advanced digital fine art printmaking technology. Images are generated from high resolution digital scans or large format digital photos and printed with archival quality inks onto various surfaces. The giclée printing process provides better color accuracy than other means of reproduction today. It is suggested by the manufacturer of the inks used for printing gicleé prints will last 125 years. Prints should not be hung in direct sunlight.

ALL PRINTS are Giclée process, hand signed by the artist, packed carefully, insured, and shipped via USPS Priority. ALL Prints are sealed in glassine sleeves with backer boards or foam core boards. Included is a Disclosure Statement of authenticity signed by the artist.

FULL SIZE FINE ART GICLEÉ PRINTS -Either ARTIST'S PROOFS or LIMITED EDITIONS are printed on 300# Arches watercolor paper or on canvas. Artist's Proofs are normally limited to ten and Limited Editions number no more than 100 prints.

UNLIMITED GICLEÉ PRINTS ON 13" X 19" are printed on either Radiant White or Velvet White Epson professional watercolor paper. Images are printed as large as possible on this standard size paper without sacrificing any portion of the original painting, therefore, borders will vary.

UNLIMITED GICLEÉ PRINTS ON 8.5" X 11" are printed on professional heavyweight matt finish paper. Images are printed as large as possible on this standard size paper without sacrificing any portion of the original painting, therefore, borders will vary.

UNLIMITED MINI GICLEÉ PRINTS ON 5" X 7" are printed on professional heavyweight matt finish paper.

UNLIMITED GICLEÉ PRINTS AS NOTE CARDS WITH ENVELOPES are sold in sets of 8. Note cards are printed with the same quality paper and inks as the mini archive prints. Card sets can be mixed or matched to create bird sets, land and seascape sets or whatever your personal desire is.
